Coordinate the project budget by controlling expenditures, coordinating owner and subcontractor billings, identifying work not covered by a subcontractor, and ensuring office support related to overall cost and schedule. Perform quantity takeoffs for division systems for all levels of project documents, including schematic, design development, and construction, and close-out documents. Work with Project Management in reviewing Safety and Quality Control programs. Coordinate with Superintendent regarding special field problems. Work with architects and engineers to clarify any necessary points on plans and specifications. Review and process all submittal data and shop drawings. Attend project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews. Perform technical /plan reviews. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, and monitor/review weekly subcontractor meeting minutes, and change orders accordingly. Distribute change documents to subcontractors and prepare change proposal requests for price review. Ensure all changes, clarifications, directives, and RFls are updated on "as-built" plans and coordinated with company supervision and subcontractors/suppliers. Maintain and follow-up on tickler board system issues, RFI logs, and change request log.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or similar field and two years of preconstruction, estimating, or operations experience in commercial construction projects or a similar field.
• Proficiency with contract documents, owner contracts, subcontracts, and blanket purchase orders.
• Knowledgeable in civil and site construction, foundation and structural systems, metals related to structural steel, casework, doors, interior finishes, exterior building wall systems, mechanical and electrical systems, and the costs of these systems.
