job summary:

A Pipeline Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. The Pipe Support Designer is responsible for locating and designing supports for piping systems, performing calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines in a 3D modeling environment.

salary: $48.96 - 73.44 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Locate and design supports for piping systems.

• Perform calculations related to pipe supports.

• Apply common pipe support hardware and industry standards.

• Ensure compliance with relevant codes (AISC, ASME B31.3).

• Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors.

• Work in a 3D modeling environment for design development.

Skills:

• Knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and relevant industry codes.

• Experience using structural analysis programs.

Desired Skills:

• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.

• Experience with pipe support analysis programs (e.g., GTStrudel).

• Familiarity with Pipe SupportModeler software.

• Previous project experience within a reputable company.

• Experience with DOD or DOE projects.
