The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. This role involves managing patient admissions, registrations, and verifying insurance information. The specialist ensures accurate and timely data entry, assists with billing inquiries, and handles patient scheduling and appointments. If you are interested in learning more, today!

shift: First

work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify patient information and demographics.

• Register patients for various healthcare services.

• Ensure accurate data entry into the electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.

• Obtain necessary pre-authorizations for procedures.

• Update and maintain accurate insurance information in the system.

• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.

• Coordinate with healthcare providers to manage appointment availability.

• Notify patients of upcoming appointments and any changes.

There are multiple shifts available for this role. You must be able to work rotating weekends to qualify for this position.

• Shifts available: 9a-6p, 10a-7p, 11a-8p, and 12p-9p
