This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group, comprised of technology platforms such as SportsEngine (https://www.sportsengine.com/solutions)  HQ, SportsEngine Motion (https://www.gomotionapp.com/solutions) , SportsEngine Play (https://www.sportsengine.com/play)  and SportsEngine Tourney. (https://www.tourneymachine.com/Home.aspx)  We enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI (https://solutions.ncsisafe.com/#home-banner)  enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.  

The Operations Analyst – NCSI will work closely with key leaders and teams within Youth & Recreation Sports to help deliver an unparalleled internal/external customer experience. This role will identify innovative solutions and best practices that should result in efficiencies and department optimization. This role will be responsible for applying a broad range of knowledge and experience with minimal supervision.

Job Duties

  • Gathers and analyzes company data from workflows, collaborative discussions, and reports; makes informed recommendations based on findings and evaluates the outcomes of newly implemented procedures.

  • Supports operational process reviews including preparing necessary materials, generating reports, and providing regular status updates.

  • Conducts research and data analysis to identify trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Builds strong relationships with the Director and Departmental Leaders to gain an in-depth understanding of processes, address challenges, and propose effective solutions.

  • Assesses current production processes and recommends strategic enhancements to optimize business efficiency.  

  • Provides ongoing support to the team as needed during and following assigned projects.

  • Prioritizes projects impartially and communicates status updates, key metrics, and progress reports to leadership.

  • Handles confidential and sensitive information daily, and ensures information is being shared between departments and with clients appropriately.

  • Performs additional tasks as assigned to support operational goals

Basic Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices in multi-platform and multi-stakeholder environments.

  • 2+ years of experience in business operations or related analytical role, with proven track record of driving process improvements and supporting operational success.

  • Possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, calculations, formatting, and visualization.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and demands.

  • Proficient in utilizing various tools and resources to present analyses and share insights with key stakeholders.

  • Skilled at evaluating data and making informed decisions based on available information.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also excelling in collaborative environments across different time zones.   

Desired Characteristics

  • Previous experience with business management platforms including both vendor and internal proprietary platforms.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office, a minimum of three days per week.

  • Must be willing to work in the Orlando, FL office.
