Shift: Full Time, Varied shifts Monday to Sunday Full time, Five 8hr shifts, Tuesday-Saturday, 0900-1730

Your role
Verifies patient identifiers and nutrition orders daily, facilitates order clarifications, and creates patient labels. Logs orders that are prepared.
Manages nutrition recipes. Verifies recipes with the registered dietitian. Publishes verified recipes for storage in the nutrition room. Makes discharge recipes available.
Prepares infant and pediatric formulas that may include ready to feed liquid, liquid concentrate, powder, modular components, and human milk using verified recipes.
Inventories human milk supplies. Orders donor human milk from milk bank.
Collects, receives, packages, labels, and stores human milk utilizing Bridge EMR. Fortifies and supplements human milk with liquid and powder fortifier, modular, and infant formula.
Distributes labeled infant feedings to patient area refrigerators. Removes human milk and formula preparations that are expired. Records temperatures for nutrition room and patient area refrigerators and heating equipment.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Required:
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Mathematical capabilities essential to job duties
Computer skills necessary for job responsibilities
Preferred:
Associate degree or greater in nutrition or related field
Experience using Cerner electronic health record
Registration as a Diet Technician by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Job Summary:
Performs duties related to preparation, packaging, storage, and inventory of infant and pediatric formulas and related supplies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
