What We're Doing

Rotary and Mission Systems' Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) business is Lockheed Martin’s center of excellence for training and logistics products and services, serving the U.S. military and more than 65 international customers around the world. Based in Orlando, TLS develops programs that teach service men and women skills to accomplish their most challenging missions — flying the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft, navigating ships and driving armored vehicles. TLS is the corporation’s hub for simulation, X reality, live-virtual-constructive capabilities, advanced training devices and full-service training programs. TLS also provides sustainment services such as supply chain and logistics IT solutions, spares and repairs, as well as automated test and support equipment.

The Work

The selected candidate will be part of a team of HRBPs supporting Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Engineering & Technology (E&T), providing both strategic and day-to-day human capital solutions. In this role, the HRBP will nearly 400 engineering employees and leaders. As a trusted advisor, the HRBP will positively impact the organization by building strong relationships and offering innovative solutions to help leaders support business and customer objectives. The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to get creative, and collaborate with a dynamic E&T and HR team.

This role will be located in Orlando, Florida with the opportunity for hybrid telework.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of progressive HR experience

• Demonstrated experience influencing and using conflict management skills

• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects and processes through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results

• Competence in data analysis and metrics to support decision making

• Strong consultative, communication, and collaboration skills across all organizational levels

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience as a HR Business Partner

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and think strategically

• Prior experience supporting Engineering or program leadership teams

• Prior experience supporting the training, sustainment and services domains or related fields

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
