Signature Aviation Director, Operations Acquisition & Integration in Orlando, Florida

As the Director, Operations Acquisition & Integration , this role is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of acquisition and integration efforts within Signature Aviation. This senior leadership position is critical in ensuring the seamless integration of acquired business units into the Signature Aviation network. The Director will work closely with the executive team, managing cross-functional collaboration across key departments, including Finance, Human Resources, IT, Commercial, Legal, Communications, and more. This role focuses on achieving operational efficiency, maximizing synergies, and driving the overall value creation from acquisitions.

The Director, Operations Acquisition & Integration provides clear leadership from pre-acquisition through to go-live and stabilization in the Signature Aviation network. The incumbent is experienced in leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, dealing with ambiguity, and building rapport with the team and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement the overall strategy and execution of integrations into the Signature Aviation network.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders in multiple functions to create detailed, department-specific integration plans.

  • Ensure that all integration tasks are well-coordinated across departments and executed to achieve a unified business strategy.

  • Identify potential risks, operational disruptions, and compliance issues related to acquisitions.

  • Manage integration budgets, track financial performance, and identify and capture synergies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the executive leadership team, providing updates on integration progress, challenges, and key milestones.

  • Lead the integration of key operational systems, processes, and infrastructure to ensure minimal disruption and smooth transitions.

  • Foster alignment between the operational and strategic goals of the acquired entities and the broader company objectives.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth cultural and organizational integration.

  • Ensure employee engagement, manage resistance, and drive the adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Establish KPIs and other metrics to monitor the success of integration projects.

  • Use insights gained from post-acquisition reviews to improve future acquisition processes and strategies.

Supervisor and Financial Responsibilities:

  • Manager (1)

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, acquisition, integration, or related fields

  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role leading large-scale, cross-functional projects in aviation or a related industry

Additional knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, planning, project management, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability across departments.

  • Advanced skills in managing complex projects, including proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Gantt charts) and methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior executives and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess issues, develop actionable solutions, and drive results under tight deadlines.
