Siemens Energy Director Fossil Operations North America in Orlando, Florida

Take charge of all work scopes in the designated area, includinginstallation, testing, operation, maintenance, fixing, and modification ofcustomer equipment and systems.
In Fossil North, the role covers 8 district offices (2 in Boston, 2 inMalvern, 2 in Pittsburgh, 1 in Chattanooga, and 1 in Charlotte). Reporting tothe Head of Field Service, the position involves significant interaction withboth internal and external customers.
The Director level position will collaborate with Regional Directors andFossil operations staff to establish the organization's direction and ensureimplementation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The RegionalDirector Fossil Operations advises strategy for the platform teams toensure that all aspects of the customer relationship are maintained.Identifies and handles the resolution of more sophisticated problems andapplies problem-solving skills to manage most situations. And directefforts to reduce district non-conformance costs and the implementation ofstrategy to identify technical and commercial risks and opportunities.
Run on-sitetechnical and operational support for equipment and systems. Also, developbudgets and business plans to support current and future workload in theregion.
Be responsible forthe region’s financial Profit & Loss and required reporting and workwith internal and external customers to develop sophisticated maintenanceplans. And coordinate the planning and estimating to develop sophisticatedproposals.
Lead the teams inreviewing task plans, drawings, and installation schematics. Provideongoing mentorship during task completion. Collaborate with platform team,including LTP, Sales, Warranty, and parts, to deliver outstanding customerservice.
Lead the districtmanagers/ engineers and support staffs ranging in size from 5 to 15persons. Total organizational size is approximately 8 managers and 60-70+Engineers and support staff.
Continuouslydevelop employees through training and mentoring. Ensure managers areefficiently developing their staff. Collaborate with other departments tocontinuously improve Siemens Energy products and service. Lead theorganization once decisions are reached at a staff level. And communicatekey technical, commercial and customer issues upward to Senior Managementand other Staff Members.
What You Bring
BS/BA in a business-related field or Engineering withminimum 15+ years of experience in Power Generation Service includingfield service
You will be required to travel up to 30%
You shall possess experience in general maintenance oflarge gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and associated equipment.With experience in working with union & non-union labor.
You will have experience with Primavera and/orMicrosoft Project scheduling software
