The Manager, Business Development serves as the primary contact with our clients and affiliates. This role is responsible for developing client relationships and managing the sales representation of the company, aiming to achieve B2B and B2C results for assigned client groups. The Business Development Manager will work closely with Finance, Operations and Marketing with the main goal of meeting and exceeding the financial goals established. Additionally, the Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales from the assigned regional accounts via new affiliations, B2B2C sales, new business and other services to continue growing and maintaining our market share and positioning of RCI leaders within the vacation ownership industry.

How You'll Shine:

  • Collaborate with the Director and SVP to ensure the successful delivery of portfolio’s business plan. Support strategy for incremental sales, contract fulfillment, member retention and propensity. Meet and strive to exceed assigned portfolio goals.

  • Lead the collaborative approach to servicing accounts via interdisciplinary teams throughout the organization and provide direction to Account Executives to complete initiatives accurately and timely.

  • Clearly communicates with the team and key stakeholders to articulate strategic goals and subsequent progress updates, detail specific work processes required to reach goals and removing confusion to ensure the team understands their role and responsibility.

  • Understanding of how to navigate the organization and leverage resources to achieve objections and business goals. Negotiates with corresponding parties to always find solutions and agreements to eliminate obstacles and reach positive results for our business and with the client’s needs in mind.

  • Provides hands on leadership to team and promoting a positive, respectful work environment. Works directly with the team to create a development path allowing professional growth.

  • Responsible for renewal contract strategies as well as detecting new business opportunities with existing and new clients.

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel required to adequately cover assigned territory service clients and attend industry/company conferences (Caribbean and US, Mexico). 50% the time with varying destinations required.

What You'll Bring:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent

  • Fluent Spanish as requirement (both written and oral). French as a desirable skill.

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Possess excellent negotiation skills

  • Clear and concise communicator, and motivator

  • Knowledge of the region

  • Microsoft office (Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Minimum experience of 3 years in sales within our industry

  • Experience in negotiating at least 3 years

  • Leadership experience 3 years

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
