Robert Half is currently seeking a dynamic Bookkeeper on a contract to hire basis for a client of ours in the legal industry, and that law firm experience is preferred. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with a variety of financial duties, including maintaining client records, processing transactions, and reconciling accounts. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial data. Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable operations

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to report accurate financial data

• Maintain books by accurately completing data entry tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and interpret financial data

• Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial records for the month

• Process payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner

• Employ the use of QuickBooks for financial management and reporting tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions

• Uphold the confidentiality and security of all financial and employee files

Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation and data entry

• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience with bank reconciliations and bookkeeping

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Capable of handling payroll responsibilities

• Ability to manage month-end close procedures

• Professional services industry experience is a plus

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and efficiency

• Proactive problem-solving skills

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
