    $34,534.39 - $42,000.00 Annually $1,328.85 - $1,615.39 Bi-weekly

    Position Summary

    This position assists and consults with the Regional Behavioral Analyst, ensuring behavioral services are implemented in accordance with statutes and rules.

    The Work You Will Do

  • Maintain spreadsheet of High Watch individuals and input necessary data to document High Watch visits. Assist with completion of weekly summaries/reports of High Watch individuals. Participate in all regional calls for High Watch individuals and documents minutes of meeting. Assist in developing any new spreadsheets as deemed necessary by supervisor. Correspond with providers as needed to follow up on any issues pertaining to cost plan/services. Assist with expedition of services approved by Regional Behavior Analyst. Correspond with staff within unit as necessary.

  • Coordinate all activities related to the Local Review Committee (LRC) including, but not limited to: developing and disseminating the monthly schedule; participating in meetings, recording clear and concise meeting minutes; ensuring all LRC recommendation forms are completed, signed, distributed and filed; reviewing and maintaining current, accurate, and complete files on all LRC related documents, which includes behavior plans, monthly and annual behavior reports, requests for Behavioral Assistant Services, and other documents via the dedicated email assigned for the submission of Behavioral Plans.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of an LRC database. This may include, but is not limited to, data entry to establish records of all Central Region consumers who receive behavior services, LRC results, and updating current information for all Central Region behavior providers.

  • Assist the Medicaid Waiver Team with cost plans for individuals determined to meet Intensive Behavior and Behavior Focus criteria which will include changing service authorizations based on Notice of Agency Action (NOAA) and other projects as assigned.

  • Assist with the completion of a monthly summary on the use of reactive strategies for the Central Region. This may include the distribution and filing of such reports.

  • Maintain current information lists for consumers designated as intensive behavioral and behavior focus and keep State office personnel updated on these lists.

  • Perform other duties as required related to assisting with the oversight of behavior services in in the Central Region.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes.

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and Excel.

    Direct Deposit Program

    As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.

    Background Screening Requirement

    It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
