Job Summary
The Associate Director Associate Experience & Inclusion (Associate Director) will lead and manage global initiatives responsible for impacting the overall associate experience, including but not limited to culture activation moments that matter, enterprise rewards and recognition programs, as well as enabling the company’s inclusion & diversity strategic priorities and programs and associate listening and learning campaigns.
The Associate Director will partner with other business leaders including C-Suite level leaders, to ensure appropriate strategies and implementation plans are put in place to maximize value of identified projects. Key partnerships include the HR Executive Leadership Team (ELT), HR Operations leaders, HR COEs, enterprise business leaders as well as cross-functional collaboration across the Global Communications COE, IT, Law, and F&A functions. This position will work closely and continuously with these key stakeholders to lead HR associate experience initiatives.
This role will direct the details of numerous associate-experience related projects, aimed at continuously fostering the company’s caring culture across the global enterprise. Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders and internal clients to identify and execute in-person and virtual associate moments that matter including overseeing signature culture event activation, enabling inclusion & diversity “educate, celebrate, & activate” campaigns, collaborating with the MVW executive inclusion council (EIC), leading associate resource group development, managing the ongoing service anniversary rewards and recognition global program, evaluating new enterprise recognition program opportunities, overseeing onboarding activities for global associates, providing thought partnership on the ongoing evolution of the adaptable work model (AWM) for corporate associates, and leading associate listening campaigns including associate lifecycle survey opportunities and focus groups. This role provides end to end leadership of associate experience work for all MVW global associates at all levels across all brands and businesses units.
The Associate Director will report to both the Assistant Vice President, Change Management, Associate Experience, and Organizational Transformation and the Vice President, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness and have people management responsibility.

Expected Contributions
Oversees management of 3 annual signature global culture activation events aimed at bringing our caring culture to life including Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, Associate Appreciation, and Global Wellness Day.
Identifies moments that matter across all global associate groups and executes both in-person and virtual opportunities to bring forward our better together company core value.
Provides thought partnership on ongoing evolution of the Adaptable Work Model (AWM) for corporate associates including administering associate surveys and synthesizing insights, seeking external best practices, and partnering with Global Communications and HR Change Management to share updates as needed.
Oversees global MVW Service Anniversary rewards and recognition program, including external vendor management.
Identifies opportunities for additional new enterprise rewards and recognition opportunities to advance the associate experience.
Champions inclusion & diversity opportunities across the enterprise including overseeing the “educate, celebrate & activate” annual campaign, designing the annual I&D calendar, fostering ongoing collaboration with the Executive Inclusion Council (EIC), developing associate resource group programming, and coordinating with Global Communications for messaging support and enablement.
Serves as a trusted HR consultant who supports investigations related to sensitive inclusion and diversity matters
Consults internally with business leaders on sensitive matters as needed as it relates to the Inclusion & Diversity strategy at MVW.
Supports the build out of board materials related to Inclusion & Diversity enterprise updates.
Fosters the associate listening strategy including listening and learning campaigns such as associate focus groups, pulse survey opportunities, and new hire experience survey data across the associate lifecycle.
Partners with HR Services to advance the data & analytics strategy for global associate listening strategy advancement.
Supports global associate onboarding activities including partnership across HR CoEs and coordination with identified onboarding coordinators.
Partners closely with HR - change management to ensure organizational change is cared for across associate experience key projects and initiatives
Provides program management excellence and leadership expertise for associate experience initiatives.
Partners with corporate social responsibility team to share associate experience insights and updates as needed.
Coordinates with onboarding project to ensure associate experience is cared for from day 1 through the career lifecycle.
Change Management
Apply a change management process and tools to develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, change networks, training, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in compliance with the company’s Change Management methodologies.
Develop short and long-term goals, and objectives, and develop and execute against these goals.
Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
Support and engage senior leaders with organizational design change and definition of roles and responsibilities
Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.
Conduct impact analyses assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Complete change management assessments.
Coordinate efforts with other specialists.
Evaluate and ensure user readiness
Tracks and reports issues or areas of concern as needed.
Defines and measures success metrics and monitors progress of programs.
Supports change management at the organizational level for associate experience initiatives.
HR / Internal Associate Experience
Consults and coaches project teams, managers, and supervisors.
Provide direct support and coaching to key stakeholders and front-line managers of others as they help their direct reports through transitions.
Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the transformation.
Oversee team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning.
In conjunction with the Learning/Talent Development team, this position will provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications.
Lead team/department deck development/webinars/meetings from HR to HR.
Oversee HR Change Management activities for the various COEs (Benefits, Compensation, EAP, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, ASC, Payroll, Policies, etc.)
Coordinate with the Global Communications COE to incorporate specific associate experience messaging into the broader business editorial communications calendar.
Lead strategic efforts that amplify the associate experience and support the culture.
Provides program management excellence; keeps multiple associate-experience projects and initiatives on budget and on schedule.
Oversees Associate Culture programs and Recognition Strategy to research, develop and implement global recognition programs, tools, and resources for leaders including the recognition playbook and toolkit.
Offers internal consultative support for function specific rewards and recognition program set ups.
Provides culture workshops with senior leader teams, as needed.

Develops operating plans and workable business processes for own department in alignment with function strategy.

Candidate Profile
Education or Certification
BA or BS Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Talent/Organizational Development, Marketing, or Human Resources required.
BA or BS Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in organizational change management program design and implementation.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management and resource management.
Proven experience supporting inclusion and diversity programs.
Proven experience delivering effective plans that deliver against our strategies, on time, on budget.
Proven experience of consulting to business leaders and designing, developing, and implementing organizational capability solutions.
Vacation ownership /hospitality/lodging industry experience a plus; MVW-specific knowledge an advantage.
