Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst- Journeyman shall prepare documentation for acquisition requirements in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division Orlando (NAWCTSD Orlando).

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as:

  • Acquisition Plans (AP)

  • Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR)

  • Procurement Initiation Document (PID)

  • Statement of Work (SOW)

  • Funding documents

  • Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)

  • Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)

  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.

  • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.

  • Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.

  • Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.

  • Travel up to 50%.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Business, Economics, or Management background OR

  • Master’s degree with Defense Acquisition University Level 2 or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures or similar disciplines.

  • Must have a Secret clearance to start.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with project management or program management, which includes implementing policy, coordinating complex Navy procedures, and developing project budgets.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Government contract and procurement procedures, including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement to ensure all life-cycle support requirements are satisfied.

  • Ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different projects at any one time.

  • Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English language.

  • Ability to answer questions and resolve problems relating to the Acquisition program.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
