We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Manager in Orinda, California. In this role, you will be part of our team, focusing on tax regulations analysis across multiple countries, providing advice on international tax laws and transactions, and participating in tax audits and strategic tax planning. Requires a strong understanding of international tax rules.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze tax regulations in various countries to identify potential tax saving opportunities.

• Provide advice on international tax laws and transactions to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.

• Assist in tax audits, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is available and accurate.

• Develop strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency.

• Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate records and report findings.

• Prepare the annual income tax provision and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.

• Conduct auditing of financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure entity formation processes comply with international tax laws.

• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement best practices in international tax management.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a Tax Manager.

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.

• Must have experience with Accounting Functions.

• Experience in Annual Income Tax Provision is necessary.

• Proficiency in Auditing is required.

• Must have experience in Compliance.

• Familiarity with Entity Formation is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Valid certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
