Curbell Inc. Quality Manager - Plastics in Orchard Park, New York

Description

Essential Functions: - Develop a culture of high performance and employee engagement by inspiring, developing, and motivating internal talent. Facilitate good discussions with employees in order to understand their professional goals and aspirations. Support and promote Curbell’s certified Quality Management System at all branch locations. Continue to develop compliant branches and help them achieve ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification as business needs are determined. Serves as the lead contact for Curbell’s ISO Registrar.- Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented. Support all supplier qualification and maintenance activities as it pertains to Quality, such as Curbell’s supplier approval process, generating NCRs, Customer Complaint resolution, and Supplier Corrective Actions.- Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, exhibit autonomy and execute on Quality initiatives to support the Plastics business.- Participate in internal and external quality audits, and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses. Participates, compiles, and presents data at management review as the Quality Management Representative.

  • Bachelors or better

Experience

Required

  • 3 years: REQUIRED: Experience in a distribution or manufacturing type setting. Experience as an internal auditor and ISO 9001 and/or AS9100. DESIRED: Plastics manufacturing or distribution.
