Eaton Corporation Plant Manager in Orchard Park, New York

Eaton’s Aerospace Mission Systems Division is currently seeking a Plant Manager to join the team. This person will report directly to the Director of Operations. The position will be based in Orchard Park, NY.

What you’ll do:

The Orchard Park business is complex and is home to four major Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). This Plant Manager will drive operational strategy and own all of the functions at the site. The Plant Manager will also have accountability for another facility in Westminster, MD. Both sites are non-union facilities with a total of an estimated 525 employees. This person will be responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership, profit and loss, growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals.

Essential Functions:

• Manage both operational leadership team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Programs, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Engineering

• Act with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive Key Performance Indicators within tight deadlines with changing priorities.

• Emphasize utilization of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans.

• Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive a zero-incident safety culture.

• Foster a Quality culture of early detection and escalations across the site to reduce cost, drive efficiency and ensure compliance.

• Partner with Human Resources to drive a talent management, learning, communication, and development strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in roles focused on Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, OPEX and/or related support functions in a manufacturing/production environment.

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience developing high performing teams of people.

• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

• An undergraduate degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $172500.03 - $253000.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
