Honeywell Sr Advanced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in Orange, Texas

As a Sr Advanced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance department of a chemical plant in Orange, TX. You will utilize your expertise in electrical and instrumentation engineering to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant's equipment and systems. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues, conducting preventive maintenance activities, and implementing improvements to enhance the reliability and performance of the plant.

You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and work on-site at our Orange, TX location. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the plant's operations, ensuring the continuous production of high-quality chemical products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by:

  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and production disruptions.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and optimize the performance of equipment and systems.

  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of electrical and instrumentation assets.

  • Participating in root cause analysis investigations to identify and address the underlying causes of equipment failures.

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical and instrumentation engineering to drive continuous improvement.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.

• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment.

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues.

WE VALUE

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience in the maintenance department of a chemical plant or similar industrial environment.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical and instrumentation engineering and NEC.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
