Annual Salary: $46,500/year Position Summary The F a m ily Fi n d er is the central i z ed poi n t o f c o n t a ct f o r all r elat e d d u t i es in s earch in g f o r i m m ed i ate and e x t e nd ed f a m ily m e m b ers o f chi ld ren i n vo l v ed in t h e d epen d e n c y s y st e m . At the earliest point possible, this position engages in data mining to e x p l o r e all f a m ily c o nn e ct i o n s a n d ass e ss the will ingn ess / a v ai l a b ility o f f a m ily m e m b e r s t o be a resource and supportive connection a nd whenever possible to offer the best pl a c e m en t s f o r t h e c h il d ren in care. Completes Home Studies: Face to face visits to the family’s home to conduce a detailed assessment of prospective relative/nonrelative including physical residence, background screen, moral character, familial status, health and financial information of applicants.
