Global Biotechnology company in the Orange County area is seeking a Research Associate to join their team! Must have 1 year of industry experience.

Pay rate: up to $35/hr

Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pm, but may be slightly flexible.

Contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Executes assay verification and validation with the team.

• Participates in projects focused on assay development in various disease areas.

• Ensures quality in work, such as raw data records being accurate, complete, and in appropriate order, and meeting protocol and SOP specifications and GLP requirements.

• Assists with the establishment of protocols and procedures.

• Executes the evaluation and qualification of materials following established protocols and procedures.

Education:

• BS in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemistry, or science/engineering related disciplines.

• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience from Biotechnology, Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience with ELISA, antibody/antigen selection and conjugation, protein purification, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, etc. is a plus.
