Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to join our Visualization team in the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) product here at Autodesk! The Viewer is the primary surface on which architects, construction project managers, owners etc. review architectural drawings and 3D models, and perform workflows on it like safety workflows, quality workflows, punch walks etc. This team focuses on enhancing the capabilities of the viewer, like navigating models using sectioning tools, measure tools, etc., as well as integrating with capabilities like Issues, RFI's, Submittals etc. to help users perform critical workflows.

As Senior UX designer, you will own and drive workflows built on top of the viewer, across web and mobile, and across our products in ACC. The day to day would involve a range of work from detailed mobile interaction design work, to designing cross platform workflows across web and mobile, to closely partnering with other teams and designers who integrate with the viewer, participating in design crits and more!

We're looking for someone who is proactive, comfortable working on complex workflows, and can balance detailed interaction design work with an ability to step back and think holistically. Experience with design authoring tools is a plus, but not mandatory.

This person will report to the Group UX Manager for the VAMp (Viewing, Assets, Markups) Group. The location of this role is Toronto, ON and you will work remotely.

Responsibilities

• You will drive the user experience on viewer platform features

• You will collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers on your product area as well as across the AEC group

• You will guide and participate in design crits to maintain a high standard for your design solutions

• You will partner with UX research to ensure we're discovering and meeting user needs

• You will help your team prioritize the most important features to meet user needs

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of design experience working as a UX designer
