Job Summary

The Program Manager’s (PM) primary responsibility is the management and day-to-day operations of the Acuity Brands SAP Fieldglass Vendor Management System (VMS). They will play in integral role in supporting our contingent workforce program. This will encompass compliance, tools, processes, and agency partnership that will help us deliver the talent we need at the most competitive rates. The PM will assist Acuity leadership in developing and managing standard processes and procedures to ensure a long term and sustainable contingent labor program. They will develop and maintain KPI’s, SLA’s, and Scorecards to ensure program value and effectiveness is achieved. This position will have one person reporting to them and will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Full program ownership of Acuity Brands Contingent Workforce Program through SAP Fieldglass. This which include but not limited to executing against business strategy, program objectives, enterprise training, program sustainability and optimization, compliance, processes, metrics & KPI's, etc.

  • Manage the relationship and performance with key vendor and suppliers, ensuring alignment with service level agreements, key performance indicators, escalations, and escalations. Partner with our Procurement team to ensure standardized and competitive rates.

  • Drive communication strategy across enterprise outlining program benefits. Ensure education, training, and in-person consultant strategy for all users including vendors, suppliers, business leaders, hiring managers, etc.

  • Monitor and evaluate program quality, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and user expectations in accordance with service level agreements. Management and set realistic expectations of all users both internal and external.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, vendors, and suppliers alike.

Job Scope

  • Monitor and enforce all Acuity Brands service level agreements

  • Conduct business reviews for senior leaders and necessary stakeholders

  • Mitigate and handle customer inquiries and escalations that fall within and outside of the program

  • Responsible for enterprise-wide the training and education for all users

  • Supplier optimization and standardization

  • Manage customer / user expectations

  • Recruitment performance of US Based direct labor efforts through the RPO

  • Partner with our RPO supporting direct labor in the US to ensure their strategy aligns with our business objectives

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with the key leadership stakeholders at Acuity

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Hiring Managers and Business Line Leaders

  • Build strong relationships with Supplier partners

Service

  • Oversees and provides program related reporting and analysis

  • Solution based when faced with complex issues even when no standard solution exist

  • Set realistic expectations for operation capabilities and staff

  • Focus on continuous improvement of service delivery

  • Ensure commitments and satisfaction goals for Acuity are met

  • Meet with Acuity leadership to review action items and create roadmap initiatives

  • Participate in program governance meetings with key leadership stakeholders at Acuity

  • Ensure Acuity needs and performance requirements are met through consistent, efficient, and effective processes

  • Responds to and resolves program issues and initial service escalations (Acuity and Vendors)

  • Ensures compliance with HR policies, guidelines, and processes

  • Makes Acuity leadership aware of operational resource requirements based on program trends to support ongoing Acuity business fluctuations

  • Monitors data integrity and participates in rate card refresh exercises

Supplier Management

  • Serve as a point of escalation for vendors

  • May lead or delegate vendor performance reviews

  • Focus on continuous improvement of vendor marketplace

  • Creates strategies for vendor management and executes on supplier rationalizations

  • Will consult and participate in vendor forums/roundtables

Leadership

  • Line of sight and full ownership to all program elements to ensure it is executed in accordance with business goals and strategies

  • Will interface and collaborate with program leaders/stakeholders to set and execute strategic guidance

  • Coach/train operations staff to assure their ability to deliver superior customer service

  • Clarify roles and responsibilities and hold team members accountable

  • Guide and develop team members in support of individual career development

  • Establish objectives and conduct performance evaluation of program team members

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

  • 6 to 8 years relevant experience

  • Experience with large corporate or global contingent workforce programs.

  • Experience with VMS systems such as Fieldglass, Beeline, etc.

  • Knowledge of agency and vendor agreements related to contingent workforce.

  • Proven ability to manage projects using standard project management tools and frameworks.

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the talent acquisition function.

  • Ability to lead and run the day to day, but also step back have a more strategic vision to move forward.

  • Ability to strategically partner across HR and the business.

  • Must have an mindset to be able to analyze performance metrics, see trends, and tell the right story to drive the right change.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, legal, organizational psychology, business administration, or related field; master's degree preferred

  • Progressive experience within Contingent Workforce Programs, with at least 2 years of experience in managing large corporate or global programs.

  • Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) preferred

  • Bilingual - English and Spanish or French (speaking and writing preferred)

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking or standing is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The range for this position is $93,500.00 to $210,500.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
