Responsibilities

The IT PMO Project Analyst/Coordinator will work along with Project Managers in managing and directing on-going IT projects and programs for Prime Healthcare. Under direction of the PMO Director, the Project Analyst/Coordinator will manage small to medium projects as assigned using PMI and Prime standard methods and techniques. The Project Analyst/Coordinator will receive guidance and direction from the CIO, PMO PMs and Director. The Project Analyst/Coordinator provides administrative, technical and implementation support for the continued success of assigned projects. The Project Analyst/Coordinator will from time to time work directly with site directors and executive staff during implementation to guide them through the steps necessary for a successful project planning and implementation. The Project Coordinator/Analysts will be the point person for multiple projects and will ensure that the PMO is involved and informed of project changes and needs. The Project Analyst/Coordinator will also support multiple IT projects to ensure they are properly documented and implemented in accordance to the approved standards. The Project Analyst/Coordinator will provide support for reporting and communicating the status of all their assigned project/programs, on a weekly basis to all business stakeholders, PMO Manager and IT Leadership.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. One (1) or more years of applicable work experience within project management.2. Understanding of PMI methodology3. Work experience in operational and/or technical areas of business4. Experience multiple tasking and problem solving5. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management or Computer Science or related field required.6. Strong written and oral communication skills7. Ability to travel up to 50% and take calls as required8. Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and/or priorities.9. Ability to support nights and on weekends, especially during go-lives, implementations and upgrades

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.2. Experience working on teams towards a common goal3. Some computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $124,051.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
