Position Summary
The Treatment Coordinator (TC) partners with families and community agencies to ensure the needs of youth are adequately addressed. The Treatment Coordinator also ensures service delivery is individualized, appropriate to need, child centered, family focused, culturally competent, strengths based, and goal driven.
The $2500 sign on bonus will be paid as follows: $500 at hire, $500 at 30 days, and the final payment of $1500 at six months of active employment.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Assess each child’s needs in all life domains and develop treatment plan goals.
Provide ongoing advocacy and support for the child’s educational needs.
Initiate and coordinate therapeutic services when appropriate.
Make regular contact with each youth to assess safety and well-being.
Working Conditions
Physical Demands: Requires vision, speech, and hearing and a moderate to high level of physical activity including; sitting, standing, walking lifting and carrying as required. Must be able to meet the demands and complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
Environmental Factors: Indoors/Outdoors: school, community, residence, office
Working Hours: A non-traditional work schedule as defined by service needs and crisis “on call”
Clearances. State Police/FBI clearance per state regulation; Child and Adult Abuse Registry clearance
Valid drivers license and current insurance
Qualifications
Education
Required
- Bachelors or better in Human Services
Experience
Required
- 2 years: Supervised experience with children and/or families
