Job Title: Virus Lab Technician Lead

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Virus Lab Technician to lead our team. With at least 1 year of experience in virus production, the ideal candidate will oversee small lab tasks and manage technicians, ensuring all operations align with internal and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include performing laboratory procedures in an aseptic environment, preparing media for cell growth, managing virus culture processes from inoculation to harvest, and maintaining accurate records and inventories. This role is pivotal for those looking to step into a leadership position within a technical environment.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in virus production

  • Adept in using lab equipment like microscopes, pH machines, pipettors, and scales

  • Ability to perform laboratory procedures in an aseptic environment

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in an aseptic area, requiring the wearing of sterile gowns or TyVek suits. Use of a respirator may be required. The role may include shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
