Actalent Superintendent in Omaha, Nebraska

Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description

Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and correct job site hazards immediately. Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office. Responsible for the overall project including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and promoting a good relationship with the client.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ Years Commercial Construction Experience (preferable ground up in $2 million and up)

  • Experience in construction software (Microsoft Project, Pro-core, Blue Beam, etc.)

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics

  • 5 years experience running commercial projects and managing subcontractors

Soft Skills

  • Efficiency

  • Detail-oriented

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.

Work Environment

The Superintendent will be out managing direct reports and subcontractors. The project will be 100% in the office, with the exception of project visits or company meetings in Lincoln. This role offers a lot of autonomy for those who are efficient and detail-oriented. The office is based in Omaha and they are looking to expand into NE/NW and Iowa.
