Overview
Midwest Plastics is seeking aPlastics Fabricator who will assist with our Shipping & Receivingdepartment in Omaha!
You will work with a Supervisor who will train you, giving you the methods and skills to work with all types of plastic: cutting on a panel saw, cutting on table saws, routing on a table router & hand-held routers, drilling on a drill press, flame polish edges of plastic, and bending material.
Responsibilities
Fabricate various thickness of plastic into custom pieces using saws, routers, and other equipment.
Take a list of sizes and thicknesses and convert sizes needed into material required.
Move materials using a forklift.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience working with Power Tools, Hand-held Routers, Drills, especially on Table Saws.
Able to accurately read a tape measure.
Basic carpentry skills but you are reworking with many architectural and industrial plastics.
Forklift operation experience needed, along with experience in shipping & receiving. Could spend almost half your day shipping & receiving.
Be reliable and have a dependable way to get to work.
Convert fractions into decimals.
60 day probation-period after which you will become full time.
Starting hourly salary of $24-$25/hr, depending upon your experience.Profit-sharing, bonus program, partially paid Medical & Dental Insurance, paid vacation and holidays.
40 hours plus work week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with OT as needed.
