As a Senior Plan Administrator, you will provide exceptional client service, foster existing relationships, instill trust, provide solutions, and look for opportunities to increase revenue for the department and the firm. Your job responsibilities as a Senior Plan Administrator:

  • Responsible for insurance administration, including premium, values, and reporting.

  • Responsible for legislative research/analysis (i.e., 409A, EITF, Finseca).

  • Prepares specimen plan documents (amendments, restatements, Q&A).

  • Responsible for insurance enrollment/underwriting, including new business and commission reporting.

  • Responsible for plan administration, including statements and account liability.

  • Manages client inquiries.

  • Responsible for compliance and PAR.

Qualifications:

You are perfect for this opportunity if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

  • Previous experience in the life insurance industry preferred

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job duties and responsibilities

  • The ability to obtain and retain a Life and Health Insurance license.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in area(s) of expertise.

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry.

  • Knowledge of nonqualified plans and tax issues.

  • Skill in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Customer service orientation.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups, including coworkers, employees, applicants, and various business contacts at various levels ranging from entry-level employees to senior executives.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

  • Must be a self-starter who can initiate projects and move them forward.

  • Skill and proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail.
