CATCH Intelligence Sales Operations Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska
We are looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven Sales Operations Specialist to manage, optimize, and report on sales activity metrics and processes. This role is critical to driving insights from our CRM system, automating sales reporting, and ensuring data integrity. You will work closely with Sales, Operations and Marketing teams to facilitate effective reporting, training, and process improvements to optimize the sales lifecycle and enhance customer relationship management. This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing the effectiveness of our sales team, streamlining operations, and ensuring that we leverage CRM to its fullest potential to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities not limited to:
Sales Reporting & Budget Management:
Automate and manage sales actuals vs. budget reporting for monthly, quarterly and year end annual intervals.
Generate and analyze reports on monthly billing by customer, Solution Advisor (SA), and other custom reports as requested.
Provide OEM and GSA reporting on a quarterly and monthly basis respectively, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Vendor Management & Partnership Support:
Lead liaison for Vendor Management, ensuring smooth processes for partnerships (deal registration, process to close, internal/external paperwork).
Assist Sales Managers with partner renewals, certifications, and other partnership-related activities.
Sales Operations Support:
Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to streamline processes and ensure the efficient flow of information between Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
Maintain and update sales process documentation in the appropriate internal systems
Track project availability, assignments, and manage reporting on key sales milestones.
Team Support & Development:
Mentor new team members and assist in their development when requested by the Manager.
Work in close cooperation with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and sales success.
Additional Responsibilities:
Communication & Reporting:
Track and report on sales demos, meetings, and key activities via Vimeo, providing insights to the team on demonstration analytics.
Regularly update and maintain key client information and CRM contacts for MSAs, C3D, and other client segmentation.
Liaison for Operations, PMs (Project Managers) and SA’s regarding project and consultant availability.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Marketing team on GSA marketing, RFIs (Request for Information), and other promotional activities.
Facilitate growth huddle sessions and ensure cross-department collaboration to drive success.
Sales Enablement & Process Improvements:
Assist with the onboarding process for new Solution Advisors and BDRs, ensuring they are trained in CRM, sales processes, and vendor tools.
Manage entitlements (contracts) and ensure that CRM data is up to date for renewals, recognitions, certifications, and partnership training.
Plan and organize training sessions annually for Sales and Marketing teams, driving attendance and engagement.
CRM Management & Sales Dashboards:
Create, maintain, and improve Sales Manager and Solution Advisor Dashboards within the CRM to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as calls, appointments, opportunities added, closed business, and other sales activities (MSA, Assessments, Workshops, etc.).
Ensure CRM reporting is an integral part of weekly sales agenda and continuously enhance CRM to support sales initiatives.
Work with Sales and Marketing teams to create and maintain targeted marketing lists (C3D, MSA, Business Objects, Thanksgiving list).
Provide training and ongoing support to ensure effective CRM use across the sales team
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in sales operations, CRM management, or a similar role in a B2B environment.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating reports, training sessions, and collaborating with teams.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics a plus), Excel, QuickBooks and other reporting tools for sales budgeting and forecasting.
Strong understanding of financial analysis
Strong understanding of vendor management systems and related reporting.
Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to create and analyze reports, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
Project Management: Experience with process improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
