Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

Coaches and develops employees on a daily basis to safely produce products with the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements. Candidates must have availability to work on weekends to meet production demands. Builds collaborative partnerships across departmental lines to achieve departmental and team results.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees daily to ensure safe production.

• Ensure products are produced at the lowest cost while meeting quality requirements.

• Work collaboratively across different departments to achieve departmental and team goals.

Essential Skills

• 3 to 5 years of production supervision experience.

• 6 years of experience in a related role.

• High School Diploma or higher.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.

• Strong management skills.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.

Work Environment

This facility is very clean, dealing with food products. It is climate-controlled except for the blow mold room, which is warm (90-100 degrees). Attire exposed to chemicals or products will stay at the facility to abide by sanitation rules. All employees will wear hair nets, facial hair guards, shoe covers, and hearing protection. The work environment is spacious but may involve working around up to 10 other individuals. The shift is from 10pm-8am, working 5-6 days a week. Supervisors are compensated for working a 6th or 7th day either by a stipend or additional time off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
