Description
Job Title: Plant (IT)Information Technology Technician
Location: Omaha, NE
Reporting to: Plant IT Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Include Day to Day repairs of electrical and/or electronic components on electrical pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems within all production areas.
Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on all weighing equipment within the plant; ensuring daily calibration checks are done according to standards set and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers and associated systems.
Setup and maintenance of plant computers and associated equipment
Maintaining plant infrastructure associated with the network etc.
Maintain instrumentation, alarm systems, and scales.
Installation and automation of new equipment and wire appropriately.
Other tasks as directed
Key Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills:
Education in IT, college degree preferred but not required
Experience in IT
Electrical and mechanical background
Must have PLC knowledge
Must be able to read prints and schematics
Advanced computer skills
Good written and oral communications skills
Ability to keep record of scale logs
