JBS Payroll Specialist in OMAHA, Nebraska
Job Title: Accounting Specialist-Payroll
Location: Omaha
Reporting to: Accounting Manager/Plant Controller
Essential Job Functions
:
- Assist Plant Controller with all phases of accounting functions
- Oversee payroll staff and assist in any day to day payroll functions
- Use payroll reports to run labor efficiency report, documenting plant productivity and efficiency by way of employees present, cattle processed, overtime costs, PPE costs etc.
- Track plant utility costs and send report to upper management daily
- Track and recon cile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with all other special projects and tasks as assigned by Accounting Manager or Plant Controller
Experience Required
:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Knowledge or experience working in meat or food processing industry preferred but not required
- Experience working in Kronos or SAP systems preferred but not required
Skills/Abilities Required
:
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, namely Excel
- Must be able to multi task and possess strong detail oriented analytical abilities
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays
- Bilingual skills preferred but not required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- $25.00/hr base rate
