CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE are seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to make a lasting impact

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine is seeking a quality-driven, patient-centered BE/BC dual-trained vascular/endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our progressive and rapidly expanding Neuroscience Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. Our strategic plan includes development of a neurosurgery residency program in coming years.

Opportunity open to both the experienced BC Neurosurgeon as well as new board-eligible grads - who are looking to be a part of this exciting vision; and GROW the Neurosurgery Division.

The opportunity is well suited for an academically driven Neurosurgeon, interested in working in a teaching environment.

This position is perfect for a dual trained vascular/endovascular Neurosurgeon interested in also maintaining a practice in general neurosurgery in the context of a Level I Trauma Center. Primary practice location is at the Creighton University Medical Center Bergan Mercy.

The Neuroscience Institute integrates leading medical experts in the subspecialties of neurology, neuroradiology, neuro-critical care, radiation oncology and neurosurgery to offer highly advanced care for patients with the most complex neurological disorders.

  • Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Certified Center with biplane suite

  • ACS Level I Trauma Center

  • Dedicated neurosurgery operating room block time

  • Modern OR equipment including Kinevo microscope with fluorescence, Stealth navigation, O-Arm, etc.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty

  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

Pay Range

$358.71 - $420.67 /hour
