Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our client's primary care/outpatient team in Omaha, NE - 68134. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position.
Pay
$26-$30 per hour
Qualifications - Education & Experience
Required:
At least 1 year of work experience as a LPN.
Nebraska LPN License.
High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).
BLS for Healthcare Providers.
6+ months' blood draw, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and/or IV experience.
Preferred:
EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
Experience working with geriatric patients.

Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.
Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and presentation software.
Ability to travel on occasion for meetings.

Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play an essential role in supporting the Primary Care Provider (PCP) in daily operations, ensuring efficient and compassionate care for patients. LPNs will collaborate closely with team members to greet and prepare patients for appointments and assist in evaluating their health conditions by conducting routine diagnostic tests.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs, interviewing patients, and gathering medical histories.
Perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring that patients are informed and that their questions and concerns are addressed.
Actively listen and engage with patients throughout their appointments, reporting any changes in their conditions to the PCP or other healthcare professionals.
Manage patient communications effectively, including returning calls, routing inquiries to appropriate team members, and obtaining important information for the physician.
Perform venipunctures and IV starts as permitted by state regulations.
Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures, and provide other first aid procedures under physician supervision, while utilizing CPR skills as necessary.
