Industrial Maintenance Engineer

Location: Omaha, NE

Shifts : First Shift (7 AM to 5 PM), Second Shift (3 PM to 11 PM), Third Shift (10 PM to 6 AM)

Pay : $37.09 to $38.94/hr.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery within our packaging facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and hold an active Third Grade Stationary Engineer’s license in Omaha.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues promptly.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a packaging environment.

• Active Third Grade Stationary Engineer’s license in Omaha is required.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
