What you’ll do:
As Group Leader, you will be operationally responsible, through the work performed by Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors and Night Coach Counselors, for the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program. The Group Leader’s supervisory duties may also include authority and or participate in decisions to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees or responsibility to direct them. The Group Leader exercises his/her authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of both students and staff in order to meet expectations of the services provided. The Group Leader typically reports to the Unit Manager but supervision may vary by individual location.
Shifts/Schedule Hiring For:
A-shift
Sun-Tuesday 8am-10pm with a 2-hour break
Wed -8am-4pm with a 2-hour break
B-shift
Wed 2pm-10pm with a 1-hour break
Thus-Saturday 8am-10pm with 2-hour break.
To be considered, you should:
Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
Have a desire to work with troubled teens and direct care experience with juveniles.
Have at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Have at least 60 hours of college education and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
