Description We are looking for a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, this role involves interacting with various stakeholders, negotiating freight rates, coordinating shipments, and streamlining processes. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, consumers, and freight vendors.

• Serve as a liaison between different parties including traders, suppliers, consumers, and various departments.

• Efficiently coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring close follow-up processes.

• Negotiate freight rates with truck lines and oversee freight invoice processing.

• Manage the handling, disposition, and reporting of rejections and downgrades.

• Administer contractual agreements and keep them up-to-date.

• Review various reports, analyze them, and take necessary action to maintain a current status.

• Identify best practices to streamline processes and assist with the development and testing of new procedures.

• Handle other duties as directed by the Regional Business Center Manager.

• Use computer programs and CRM to process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records.

• Manage communication, including answering incoming calls and resolving customer inquiries.

• Oversee billing functions within the management system. Requirements • Proficiency in computer programs related to waste management and dispatch operations.

• Experience with CRM software to manage customer relationships and interactions.

• Familiarity with management systems, particularly those related to waste and environmental management.

• Ability to answer queries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.

• Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.

• Ability to carry out billing functions accurately and efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
