Job Title: Cook $17-19.50/hour

Job Description

The cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. Responsibilities may vary depending on business needs and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.

• Accurately portion and present food items.

• Ensure all food preparation meets the required standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Proven cooking skills

• Experience in food preparation and production

• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or chef

Work Environment

The work environment is a kitchen setting. Shifts are available during the day and evening: Day shifts include 8am-2:30pm and 10am-2:30pm; evening shifts include 1pm-8:30pm and 2:30pm-8:30pm. The kitchen is a fast-paced environment where safety and sanitation are prioritized.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00
