CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Clinic Phlebotomist to our Nephrology Clinic located at our CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, No weekends, No holidays & No call!

Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
Under the direction of the health care provider, the phlebotomist contributes to the delivery of patient care that promotes the well-being and safety of all patients and staff.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis using procedures consistent with safe work practices and proper laboratory techniques, while maintaining the integrity of specimens.
Performs patient point of care testing.
Ensures required safety checklists and quality controls are completed and action taken if indicated.
Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.
Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
Previous phlebotomy experience strongly preferred but not required
Pay Range
$15.15 - $20.84 /hour
