Job Title: Cable Products Assembly

$20/hr- M-F 5:00am-1:30pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled assembler to join our team. As an assembler, you will work with a variety of mechanical and electrical components to assemble cable products. Our facilities include a 50,000 square foot manufacturing space in Omaha, NE, and a 110,000 square foot plant in Omaha, NE You will be responsible for assembling large spring reels, motorized reels, slip rings, large festoon systems, conductor bars, C-track festoons, small spring reels, push button pendants, and radio remote controls.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components.

• Use hand tools and power tools effectively.

• Read and interpret blueprints and bills of materials.

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

• Assemble cables for gears.

• Cross-train in other departments as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and electrical assembly experience.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.

• Experience in assembly and manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

We offer a flexible work schedule, working 4 - 10 hour days with starting times at 5 am or 6 am, Monday through Thursday. Overtime opportunities are available throughout the week, and occasionally on Fridays or Saturdays when needed. We promote cross-training among team members to ensure growth and adaptability to meet customer needs.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop setting where you will be exposed to fumes and high noise levels.
