Providence St. Joseph Health Senior Diagnostic Imaging Assistant in Olympia, Washington

Description Diagnostic Imaging Assistant III assists the supervisor with the day-to-day workload in support of Diagnostic Imaging operations and facilitates communication with patients, department staff and other hospital departments and radiologists. The position performs a variety of duties to support the operation of the department, these include QA/QI activities through data collection and evaluation, spreadsheets and accessing RIS report writer. The position utilizes digital and Picture and Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) technology with the ultimate goal of accurate and efficient utilization of electronic/manual image and data storage, reporting and distribution methodologies. Participates in problem solving activities. Duties also consist of clerical process and involve reception, responding to inquiries, filing and retrieving films and records, purging, transferring film libraries, courier, transport, and clerical functions. Required Qualifications: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Office and/or radiological department work with responsibilities for helping coordinate services, and demonstrated leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED 2 years experience as DI Assistant or Electronic Imaging Assistant PACS or RIS experience Why Join Providence?
