Oracle DevOps Engineer in Olympia, Washington
Job Description
As a member of the operations team we are looking for someone that has 3-5+ years of experience in application operations.
The best candidate will have monitoring and troubleshooting skills, experience with cloud technologies and deployments, security vulnerability remediations, basic networking, infrastructure knowledge, experience with incident and change management and basic understanding of automation tools.

Responsibilities
Responsiblities:
As a DevOps engineer you take ownership of the implementation and production operations of a wide array of Oracle Health support tools
You will be part of the team responsible for incident and change management of production systems.
Help resolve critical production issues tied to SLAs in a timely manner
Remediate security vulnerabilities for production and non-production systems
Play an active role in the setup and maintenance of OCI and on-premise infrastructure, configurations and automation of system environments and processes.
Use DevOps tools and principles to deploy and troubleshoot production systems, both in OCI and on-premise
React to production deficiencies by continuously implementing automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring to production systems
Qualifications:
Experience in troubleshooting OS and application issues, investigating application as well as Operation System performance issues.
Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux (OEL or RHEL preferred)
Knowledge of monitoring systems with tools like Zabbix, NewRelic or OCI monitoring
Experience with load balancers (F5 Big IP) or cloud load balancers
Basic networking knowledge
Cloud knowledge – OCI (preferred), AWS or Azure
Hands-on work knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes or other DevOps solutions
Scripting experience: Java, Python, Perl, bash-scripting, with Rest API knowledge
Excellent written and documentation skills
Experience applying security standard and best practices

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,700 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
