Field Service Engineer – South

What would you do as our Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance across various products within the Traka range. This is a customer facing role and requires the highest level of customer service at all times to meet the standards of our blue-chip customer base. This role will cover the south of the UK but could also involve other national and international travel.

You would also:

  • Conduct on-site annual maintenance of existing Traka systems

  • Operate to Safe Working practices and Instructions complying with H&S, including both Traka and customer site policies

  • Work to high professional standards to ensure servicing of equipment is delivered in a timely manner and give support to customers as required

  • Complete all electronic documentation within the agreed timescales including any escalation through team leaders for further investigation

  • Ensure all returns are processed and documented, repairing product where possible

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • A full current UK driving licence

  • Confidence with IT equipment (laptops/tablets) and familiarisation of software products (basic knowledge)

  • Be able to assist in diagnostics where required

  • Willingness to travelling extensively throughout the UK when required, with the potential need to spend nights away from home due to the nature of the role

  • Hands on electronic/ electromechanical experience as well as knowledge and practical experience of hardware maintenance
