Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This fast-paced role will involve handling various aspects of account payable functions within a high volume processing environment. You will be expected to manage vendor relationships, maintain accurate records, and utilize various software systems to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently monitor and manage an email inbox for invoice related communications

• Accurately log and code invoices, ensuring proper account allocation

• Utilize Excel for various functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and formulas

• Operate Oracle and other accounting software systems for seamless workflow

• Oversee high volume processing tasks and ensure timely completion

• Conduct periodic auditing of accounts payable records for accuracy

• Manage automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and other related processes

• Maintain a robust understanding of accrual accounting principles

• Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure smooth operations

• Handle high volume call center tasks as needed

• Perform other accounting functions as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is expected

• Proficiency in using Concur is needed

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is essential

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is expected

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is needed

• Prior experience in Auditing is necessary

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas is essential

• Experience with Oracle is expected

• Ability to perform Coding Invoices is necessary

• Experience in Managing Vendor Relationships is required

• Experience in a High Volume Call Center is preferred

• Proficiency in Inbox Management is expected
