THE WORK

This position sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. The SMT Line Operator works from Standard Operating Detail (SOD) or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. Reports to the Operation Supervisor on work progress, including any conditions surrounding failure to meet quantity or quality standards. Attends Operating Excellence Team meetings and brings recommendations for continuous improvement. Executes daily functions with key performance metrics in mind: Safety, Quality, Productivity and Schedule.

WHO YOU ARE

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

- Mechanical Assembly Experience

- H.S Diploma or Equivalent

Desired Skills:

- SMT Machine Operators are responsible for the set-up, change over, operation and daily maintenance of complex SMT equipment and all associated tooling.

- SMT Machine Operators may also perform SMT Kitting and Assembler / Tester functions (as required) including, but not limited to assembling parts, prepping parts, various assembly testing, loading / unloading SMT feeders, and part counting / estimating.

- Set Up, Tear Down (Change Over), and Operate: Screen Printing, Component Pick & Place, Paste Inspection, Glue Machines and other machines in conformance with all accompanying documentation.

- Set up oven with appropriate recipe as indicated by documentation.

- Perform Part Verification of set up and reel changes using bar code scanner and computer program.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
