Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform electrical maintenance, repairs, replacements, and upgrades on all corrugated box machinery. The role involves working with various equipment, including engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyor systems, production machines, gearboxes, and pumps. Electrical tasks will include working with photoeyes, sensors, VFDs, and rewiring up to 480v, as well as reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on corrugated box machinery.

• Conduct replacements and upgrades on various equipment including engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyor systems, production machines, gearboxes, and pumps.

• Work with electrical components such as photoeyes, sensors, VFDs, and handle rewiring up to 480v.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing electrician roles.

• Knowledge of pneumatics, preventive maintenance, hydraulics, 3-phase motors, gearboxes, and pumps.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

• Experience with VFDs, PLCs, photoeyes, sensors, and 3-phase rewiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Work in a non-temperature controlled industrial manufacturing plant. The role requires adaptability and the ability to work effectively in various conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oldsmar, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
