General Responsibilities:

Performs accurate and timely reports to internal and external customers using prevailing wage details.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • With limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and non-routine complex document compliance functions to ensure the proper preparation of accurate and timely reports to customers based on contract terms and government regulations.

  • Responsible for the accurate entry of wage determinations and overtime schedules in the prevailing wage application.

  • Oversee the preparation of government-required reports including certified payroll reports, apprenticeship tracking, small business utilization, or other required reporting.

  • Responsible for answering complex prevailing wage questions for both Federal (Davis Bacon) and state prevailing wage projects.

  • Prepare employee benefit / fringe statements and enter into appropriate forms and databases as required

  • Responsible for prevailing wage audits including running reports, pulling documentation, investigating discrepancies, and responding to auditors in a timely manner.

  • Obtain payroll and fringe rates documentation for government proposals.

  • Maintain accurate tracking system for prevailing wage projects and certified payroll reports

  • Review of Prevailing Wage determinations and perform analysis of applicability.

  • Prepare documentation for clients as needed if Terracon services do not fall under prevailing wage determination for specific projects.

  • Works on compliance of both federal and state prevailing wage statues, including the payment of employees and reporting requirements.

  • Set up and maintain complex prevailing wage projects in the project registration system.

  • Research and maintain knowledge of prevailing wage laws, policies, and procedures.

  • Review and sign Certified Payroll Reports. Correct reports as required

  • Assist with completing complex certified payroll reports.

  • Review and/or prepare training fund documentation and payment submission

  • Prepare payroll corrections when discrepancies with prevailing wage requirements are identified and submit to payroll

  • Adjust certified payroll reporting to reflect any adjustments made to payroll
