ManpowerGroup Senior Automation Engineer in Okmulgee, Oklahoma
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting plant optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer
Location: Greater Tulsa Oklahoma
What's the Job?
Design and develop industrial control system solutions including DCS, PLC, and HMI programs.
Ensure compliance with company Cybersecurity efforts through secure solutions for Operation Technology (OT) devices.
Monitor KPI's for controls equipment and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
Optimize and automate plant controls to improve facility cost-effectiveness and production capacity.
Provide technical support for process safety efforts and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on control system networking.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and develop effective problem solutions.
Understanding of ICS architecture and operational reliability.
Experience with Delta V, Allen Bradley, and PI systems is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently.
