Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting plant optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Location: Greater Tulsa Oklahoma

What's the Job?

• Design and develop industrial control system solutions including DCS, PLC, and HMI programs.

• Ensure compliance with company Cybersecurity efforts through secure solutions for Operation Technology (OT) devices.

• Monitor KPI's for controls equipment and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

• Optimize and automate plant controls to improve facility cost-effectiveness and production capacity.

• Provide technical support for process safety efforts and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on control system networking.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and develop effective problem solutions.

• Understanding of ICS architecture and operational reliability.

• Experience with Delta V, Allen Bradley, and PI systems is desirable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently.
