The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Mid-Level Systems Engineer - Program Certification Level 3 in Oklahoma City

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Maintains certification plans and technical documents in support of regulatory compliance.

  • Utilizes engineering tools and business systems to research, analyze, and compile technical data.

  • Participates in design and test life-cycle, providing input from the perspective of regulatory compliance.

  • Engages with certification authorities to achieve mutually agreeable solutions.

  • Adapts to changing requirements and operates well in dynamic conditions.

  • Builds relationships and interfaces with other members of the program, leadership, customers and suppliers to meet team objectives.

  • Receives general direction and works independently to meet program schedule and objectives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City.

Work Authorization :

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 5 or more years' related work experience

P referred Qualifications:

  • Active security clearance

  • Experience with Systems Engineering Principles

  • Experience with Airworthiness Certification (Civil (FAA, EASA, EMAR) and/or Military MIL-HDBK-516C)

  • Experience on FAA MCDA STC programs

  • Experience using digital engineering tools including Cameo, MentorCapital, DOORS, and 3DExperience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: 90,950 - 123,050
