We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Interim Controller in the finance and accounting industry, based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position involves overseeing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and ensuring accurate reporting of revenue. This role requires hands-on involvement and proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. 100% ONSITE in Oklahoma City, OK 73112. Must Have QUICKBOOKS experience.

Interim Controller (contract):

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general month-end close duties

• Manage and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

• Collaborate with operations staff to ensure accurate revenue posting

• Maintain hands-on involvement in managing a small team

• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting functions and Microsoft Excel for data management

• Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills

• Present financial statements to stakeholders

• Leverage industry experience in route based or commercial services business for better financial management.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar capacity

• Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports is required

• Demonstrated expertise in accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in auditing and budget processes is necessary

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation

• Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in team management

• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field is required

• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred

• Able to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
