Accenture’s Infrastructure Engineering (IE) Hybrid Cloud Advisory practice is dedicated to strategically solving our client’s hybrid hosting, infrastructure, and operating model IT transformation challenges. You Are:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager to lead strategic technology transformation initiatives for our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong bland of a technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to build client trust and deliver innovative solutions.
The Work:
Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients for technology transformation programs, engage in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders to identify business drivers for transformation programs
Lead in-person or virtual meetings to gain understanding of client’s working environment and synthesize strategies to bridge gaps of deficiencies
Lead technology transformation engagements; develop current state risk assessments, technology transformation strategies and adoption roadmaps
Lead business case development for technology transformations
Develop strong relationships with clients and gain the trust of key advisors
Mentor a high performing team of infrastructure engineers and architects
Identify and develop opportunities to expand hybrid cloud advisory services across new and existing clients
Support the sales team in client proposals and RFP responses
Be ready to rack up those air miles with weekly travel to client sites Monday through Thursday. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here’s What You Need:
Minimum 10 years of engineering or architecture experience in IT infrastructure (compute, network, storage) with a strong focus on both data center and cloud landing zones
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Minimum of 5 years’ deep understanding of data center infrastructure and operations (compute, network, storage, resiliency)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 6 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 12 years work experience)
Bonus Points If You Have:
Proven track record in managing large-scale technology transformation programs
Experience synthesizing large volumes of complex data along with the ability to develop executive presentations, dashboards, meeting minutes and lead technical and non-technical stakeholder meetings
Extensive experience in advisory roles, working with senior business and IT stakeholders
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate strategy, status, risks and issues to a broad stakeholder audience including C-level management, business stakeholders, application and infrastructure leads
Strong work ethic, with the ability and commitment to see critical milestone tasks and program deliverables to completion with limited oversight
You have team lead experience
You have external client-facing consulting experience
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
